Anthony McCourt oversees ictQATAR's national e-health program aimed at building the digital infrastructure necessary to enhance all aspects of health care: prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. He manages the legal and clinical policy requirements for e-Health with a focus on procurement, delivery and strategy to ensure the best and most cost-effective solutions in the health arena for the state of Qatar.

McCourt has extensive experience in the field of e-Health within both the public and private sector. He is specialized in Healthcare IT Programme & Project Management, with expertise in methodologies conforming to OGC-PMP & Prince 2.

Prior to joining ictQATAR, McCourt was Project Manager at the Computer Science Corporation, managing projects for the North West, West Midlands, National Program for IT in the UK. He was also Program Manager for BUPA Healthcare. McCourt has an Honours Degree in Business and Finance with Prince2 Practitioner accreditation, and is also qualified in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Service Delivery (ITSD).
