Dr Soumitra Dutta is the Roland Berger Chaired Professor of Business and Technology, and Dean of Executive Education at INSEAD. His research spans all aspects of knowledge management, with a long-time focus on driving business innovation and growth through the right combination of innovative people and technology. He also serves as the Director of eLab at INSEAD.

He is the author of numerous articles and eight books, including The Bright Stuff: How Innovative People and Technology Can Make the Old Economy New. Dr. Dutta is a three-time recipient of the ECCH Case of the Year Award and his been a visiting professor at the University of California - Berkley and the Solvay Business School in Brussels.

Dr. Dutta earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of California- Berkeley. He also holds a Masters of Science in Business Administration and Computer Science from the University of California-Berkeley
