Reem Al-Mansoori leads the e-Inclusion team at ictQATAR, working to develop an inclusive information society for the state of Qatar. Her role encompasses the implementation of initiatives and policies to reduce gaps in ICT usage and promote the use of ICT to improve social participation. e-inclusion aims to bring the benefit of the Internet and related technology into all segments of the population, including people who are disadvantaged due to education, age, gender, disabilities, or geography.
Al-Mansoori has a wealth of experience in e-Literacy and ICT development spanning more than twelve years. She has worked extensively on e-Inclusion Strategy Development, ICT Capability Building and on Development and Implementation of ICT curriculum. A Qatari national, she has conducted lectures on Computer Safety, and currently serves as a member on the board of Qatar Academy.
Al-Mansoori was earlier involved as Project Manager for the e-education team at ictQATAR where she handled several initiatives such as School Learning Management System, Knowledge Net and Global Gateway.
Al-Mansoori has a Masters degree in Computational Intelligence from the University of Plymouth, UK, and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Qatar University.
