Expanding Minds and possibilities

eContent

Integrating ICT into curricula requires new materials and instructional resources. In partnership with Qatar's Supreme Education Council, ictQATAR is developing eContent, which will provide interactive materials to encourage and support student self-learning and new resources for teachers.

eContent promotes the problem-solving and critical thinking that are integral to students' success in the global economy. The resources also help students acquire necessary ICT skills for personal and professional fulfillment as adults.

Development of eContent is underway in the areas of math and science, in order to help students meet learning standards.

eContent will also enable students and teachers to:

  • Efficiently access and retrieve reference material
  • Reduce learning time and increase knowledge retention rates
  • Effectively integrate information access into routine education processes
  • Protect investment in collected reference material
  • Reduce resource requirements necessary to maintain reference material
