In the GLOBAL market, the future belongs to the NIMBLE

Overview

Over the next three years, ictQATAR will collaborate with the private and public sectors to roll out 21 e-Business initiatives to help small and medium-sized enterprises thrive. Throughout this period and beyond, ictQATAR will sponsor Business Connect, a series of seminars that bring businesses and ICT developments together. The seminars will highlight relevant ICT information and provide a forum to share success stories.

In partnership with government agencies, ictQATAR will introduce on the government portal Hukoomi an open, streamlined, and inclusive system for online tendering for government contracts. Our goal is to foster equal opportunity to compete for projects. Once electronic procedures are in all business leaders will be able to see every available government contract and bid online through an e-tendering process.

In early 2009, ictQATAR will launch an online Business Directory to match people who are looking for a specific product or service with the businesses that provide that product or service. Businesses in the Directory will be categorized, allowing customers to easily search and compare options. And within seconds, businesses will be able to identify potential customers and suppliers, along with a map of their location.

ictQATAR encourages local business to participate in championing and providing ICT offerings. If you think your company can add value to the e-Business initiatives ictQATAR is spearheading, please contact us.
