Qatar Hosts 4th Arab Digital Content Forum

Qatar is hosting the 4th Arab Digital Content Forum this Oct. 5-7 under the theme “The Future of Arabic Content on the Internet.” The event is organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications under the auspices of the League of Arab States in collaboration with Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) of Qatar, the Arab Information and Communication Technologies Organization (AICTO) and Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific organization (ALECSO) and the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
The 3-day virtual forum will focus on the Arabic digital content, its advancement and challenges. It will also discuss the importance of Arabic digital content during crises and the role it has played in the current COVID-19 situation and learnings from this for other crises.
Other key topics relevant to the creation of Arabic digital content include the prospects of e-learning in the Arab region, the future role of Arabic digital content within the education sector and learnings particularly from the education sector’s response to the COVID-19 situation. The role of the Arabic digital content within a smart nation and the Arabic digital content and entrepreneurship amongst youth are also among the key discussions.
The Arab Digital Content Forum aims to enhance and support the development of Arabic digital content in all sectors and highlight innovations, breakthroughs, best practices and successes in the development of Arabic digital content. It also aims at increasing the international and regional cooperation.
